I say anything by Sennheiser is worth the money - but not sure if you'll
get your ability to switch so easily. Some of the gaming headsets look
quite good.

Subject: [access-uk] Headset replacement

Hi All,

Well my old VXI Talkpro Express, has finally given up the ghost, and
gone to a land fill site no doubt.

So time to choose another.

What to replace them with, question.

Well, what I would really like is a set of headphones, with which I can
switch between PC and telephone, plus PC and Daisy player., am I asking
too much?

It would be nice to have a simple box, with which to switch between
these two settings.

I currently have a pair of Bose noise reduction headphones, which are
very comfortable, but are lacking an attached microphone. If these had a
microphone, all I would need is a box of tricks that with a flick of a
switch, allows me to hear the PC/JAWS, in one ear, and either the
telephone or daisy player in the other, and the microphone to work with
both as I have Dragon Naturally Speaking/J-Say, and a Plextalk PTR2
daisy player, which I can record on.

Anyone know of such a setup, commercially available?

If not, I would also like to hear any recommendations, as to the best
headsets currently available.

Cheers

Dave Ankers
