Good point, Steve.  It could be that Microsoft are happy with the initial
glory, but the guy who started this work with Microsoft could be thinking of
the end user and getting the system out to as many as possible.

Not sure I agree about Microsoft not puping money for other platforms, it's
only Apple that are like that.  Microsoft for example do Office for Android.
Apple don't do anything for Android.

Wouldn't it just.  But, then again, I can't imagine that Microsoft would
pump money into something that the other platforms could use for free.
Perhaps what they are developing is simply an app for the Windows phone that
works with beacons.
