I did not have the same problem with my N95 and headset though I did not use the headset that came with it.

Subject: [access-uk] Headset for N95

Hi all

Is it my headset or are they particularly quiet? When I plug the headset
that came with my N95 into my mobile the sound is too low to be of any real use, particularly out and about. I try turning the volume up, but it doesn't
do anything. I have to put Talks onto it's loudest setting to get any
practical use from it.

Should I get a new headset or is there a setting I can adjust anywhere on
the N95?

Thanks in anticipation

Cheers

Barry
