I guess it is similar to a single quote but placed at the end of the character. It has a loop to the left. Will be interested in hearing how others describe it. -----Original message----- From: Jackie Brown Sent: 13/10/2013, 2:31 pm To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Handwriting with iOS 7 Sorry guys, can't help there. I don't even know what a comma looks like far less draw one! (smile). I will ask Martin to show me later for the hell of it, but creating capital letters is amusement enough for me. No problems with other punctuation but just can't get the comma to work! Next stage after the comma is the apostrophe!! And to add my two pence worth, I find it quite accurate myself and perhaps quicker than using the onscreen keyboard but definitely a lot quicker to bring up applications. A very useful feature IMHO. It would be much slower to use for a sighted person compared to using the touch keypad though and so probably wouldn't be used From: Ian Macrae <mailto:ian.macrae@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, October 12, 2013 7:33 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Handwriting with iOS 7 Gave this a go on my iPad today with my sighted lad. It's accuracy is not one hundred per cent and, suspecting this might be my poor letter shapes, I got Scott to have a go and he had similar results. I'm also curious to know why they put this in the Accessibility settings suite instead of making it more generally and obviously available. I opened my phone app, selected the keypad tab and dialled a number using this function! Awesome!
