I agree with that and, additionally, I'm not ashamed of being blind
either.  As long as I always dress as smartly as I can and act in a
respectable and responsible way when I am out, the fact I use a cane as
opposed to a dog makes no odds. (smile).

predicament. You would look just as blind weather you had a guide dog or
