Hi Colin.

I'm still using the old version of Google groups as it's still there.

Greetings,

I would agree GoogleGroups were good when they had their older-style
interface but I find their new version difficult to use. I own three groups
- NTExpress, Music-anoraks and totalRecorderUsers, I co-moderate the
goldWave4TheBlind group.

If anybody has hints and tips how to use the new interface I am happy to
hear from you.

I am using windowsXP Home, Jaws V10 on this laptop and V11 on my desktop, I
have I.E V8 on both machines.

The most troublesome aspect of the new interface is the captia used to add
new subscribers; there is an audio feed but the last time I tried, the
words were so mixed up in the background sound, I could not distinguish
then. I sent the sample to a few people some on this group and nobody could
distinguish the actual words from the background, which, to me, was all at
the same volume.

I even sent it to people whom I know to have much better hearing than mine
and they could not distinguish either.
