[access-uk] Re: Goodmans DAB Radio with speaker, an excellent radio at an excellent price!

Hi John.

It seems to me that was a typo, *smile* no one would pay that much. full stop and comma are directly next to each other, I've made the same error on occasion. I've learned over the years never to take emails too literally. Lists I've been on are needlessly clogged up with debates like this just because someone gets a spelling wrong. the thread seems to drag on and on as people reply pointing it out and deviates from the original point. Obviously in this case its relevant as you say, no one would want to pay that much.

cheers,

Mo.

Hi John.

Paul said he only spent £35, which surely isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things?

cheers,

Mo.

Hi,

I rang amazon and discussed the situation, they said I'd have to return the faulty one and I have arranged a collection for it. I will then be refunded the cost. I also ordered from another company by reordering via the amazon site and paid. the company I think was direct 4 and cost was £34,99.

Hth.

Kind regards,

Paul

for a replacement.  but I suppose some radios will be faulty.

Hi, Ok seems I might have the 1 faulty radio! there are no contacts in the radio that the battery can get it's connection to. and therefore it can't supply the power! the battery shakes around in the case.

Hi Kevin.

Feel for the contacts. Then feel the ends of the battery and match the
contacts in the radio to the holes in the battery.  insert the battery
against the contact holes and push firmly in to place. that's about as
much as I can describe via email unfortunately...  imagine you're
inserting a battery in to a mobile phone.  its not that flimsy, you
should be fine.

I hope this helps?
