I didn't, it's weird though. There is something about occasional friday afternoon batches of poor goods! (s%mile).

I've now ordered another one from a different company Mo which will arrive Thursday and the previous duff model is being collected on Wednesday.

Kind regards,

Hi.

This is all very odd! Did either of you try to force the battery in to the radio? By the sounds of it neither of you would have done, but the chances of 2 units having exactly the same issue?

All the best,

Mo.

Hi,   Ok seems I might have the 1 faulty radio!   there are no
contacts in the radio that the battery can get it's connection to.
and therefore it can't supply the power! the battery shakes around in
the case.
