Hi folks,

I haven't seen any comment on this, but perhaps I missed something. It
would appear that the Beeb in its wisdom, have had a change of heart, and
are now going to pipe audio description to the Sky system as well. They
call the Netgem way of doing things "Receiver Mix", and the Sky way of
doing things "Broadcast mix". So it would appear that Pete Gurney's post,
which he gleaned from Diginews, is now out of date, and we won't need
different boxes after all.

For those interested in this apparent change of heart, have a listen to
last Tuesday's In Touch on Radio 4's On Demand page. It looks as though we
are going to get AD from the BBC and ITV and C4 by around the autumn.

This for me is great news, and I just thought I'd share it a bit.

All the best
