Gordon, as a valued member of the list, of course you're on topic. And a hearty welcome back, if that's not thoroughly insensitive.

Gordon that's simply awful. So glad it's sorted out, but how I empathise with your problems, and I don't care if it's on topic or not, that's just pitiful. All the very best for a speedy recovery so you can help with all our Apple questions. (smile). Unfortunately marching from ward to cashiers has brought on an attack so have to take GTN spray works it'smagic ..off we go to the ward again but the lack of sugar in my blood and the blood pressure lowering qualities of the spray results in me collapsingin the Day roomFour nurses grab me and hoist me on to a bed and rush me to the ward. More sharp things and electronic gadgets, two hours later white coat appears andsays perhaps a cup of sweet tea might help - it does. Finally get a sandwich and another cuppa before being passed in to the hands of the worlds most boring driver for an even longer trip home as the driverhas to deliver another patient on the way - get home in shock at 19:00. Await new date. Hospital forget to tell booking service, lose my records. They have to give me a date within 28 days of the cancelled date, with twoweeks they cannot meet their own deadline so I am entitled to go private andcharge it to NHS. How strange, I get an appointment within four days and have now had new plumbing work done on my heart. Is this on topic? Yes always check your rights on NHS and assorted large organisations web sites carefully when a cock up arises and trust your speech synthesiser. Regards G From Bridgerule in glorious Devon, England.
