Hi Adrien

Yes, I noticed those settings, and opted for the one that starts from now
rather than all. I think I have it sorted now.

Thanks for your help.

Hi

You can set gmail up to send you the message and then either
delete or archive the copy, look under pop and forwarding
settings. Also if you are using pop for the first time
careful as there are two choices, to receive messages
received from that time onwards or to receive all messages
even those from the past, you don't want that, I archive my
messages so if I am not careful can receive several hundred
thousand messages.

Regards

Adrien

Think Jackie that gMail by default keeps them for about
thirty days and
then automatically deletes them.
Don't think that there's a work around; personally I prefer
it that way
just in case!
