Narrator will speak that. Usually you go straight into Windows setup.

Chris - Isn't there a screen first that asks for a user name or some log on details? -

Andy, you should be able to use Narrator from the word go. As soon as you hear sound or music, press Windows u, and Narrator will load.

Subject: [access-uk] Getting started with an XP asus 901 netbook

Hi all -

Firstly, many thanks to all that help me understand about netbooks, and enabled me to make my choice of the Asus 901.

This machine comes preloaded with XP, is it possible to get started on this machine without sighted help? Can anybody tell me which screens come up first, and how to get past them to the point where I can make use of Narrator?

Thanks -

Andy
