As DJ Paddy has said, it's an easy enough, but necessary
process, and is a process which applies to all versions of
XP, Vista and indeed a great deal of software purchased
these days.
The fact that you may not have had to do this yourself
before, simply means that someone else has done it for you.

more about the recovery disk. I have now been able to

the recovery disk, without Norton/ aol.
The Installation went okay, but now when I boot-up I'm
getting the=20
following: 30 days left for Activation.
What does this message mean?,
The copy of xp home was in the system, when I purchased it,
and there was no=20
bundled software, just the recovery disk.
