Hi,
I am using a single over-the-ear earpiece that has a mike built in and is
blue toothed to my Mokia. See no reason why it couldn't work on Iphone. Cost
about 70Eur ten years ago here in Cork, Ireland.
Aedan.

Subject: [access-uk] GPS on an IPhone

Hi, My Trekker GPS stopped working on Friday due to the battery in the
PDA dying. I've ordered a replacement battery but I have decided to get
a backup GPS to use on my IPhone. I upgraded to this IPhone back in May.

I'm looking for something that gives upcoming street information
automatically, POI information and can give turn by turn instructions.
Currently I'm looking at Ariadne and Blindsquare, which I think can do
what I want. Also I've looked at Sendero Look around, which can't do
turn by turn instructions. Any views on those 3, or alternatives? I'm
trying not to spend lots of money, but at the same time, I'd prefer to
have 1 app rather than 2 or 3.

Am I right in thinking that I can connect a separate blue Tooth GPS
receiver to the IPhone?

For the future and when I've got more money, is there such a thing as a
portable speaker that also contains a microphone that I could connect to
my IPhone.
Cheers
Yusuf
