Hi,

This is my point. We need a more generic giraffe, not one for each model.

All the best

Steve

And the cradle is too narrow for an iPhone 6 in a case.

I’m a fan of the Giraffe too and admire what Sam Jewel is trying to do.
However, and this is a point I’ve made to him in my feedback, I think that due
to his relatively low production volume and the cottage industry nature of how
it’s made, the price, for what the device is is rather too high and probably
puts many people off.

Hi Alison.

If you want a good document stand for your iPhone, head on over to
www.giraffe-reader.com. It's made here in the UK and is available for the
princely sum of around £35 or so, not much at all when you consider how
useful and robust it is. Great for iPhone's up to the 5S and the iPod Touch
range, Sam who makes this stand is also working on a version for the iPhone 6
and 6 plus.

All the best, Ibrahim.

I have just been listening to the Apple-Vis podcast on KNFB where they are
announcing the free 25 scans on the new upgrade. It says something about you
being able to download the locked version but once your 25 free scans have
expired, you will need to pay the $99.99.
What did interest me is the new feature for scanning multiple pages. I know
about the Giraffe but it would appear there are other stands which can also
be used to assist with scanning multi-pages. What do folk on this list use?
Also, in the demonstration, they are using a Bluetooth keyboard to
manipulate the app. How easy/fiddly is it to operate in the usual fashion,
swiping and tapping etc.

Alison

OK thanks.

I thought I might have just missed it or something.

Thanks for putting me straight Eleanor.
