Hi Andrew
I have this speaker, but discovered there was a firmware update for it
agree though that the app is absolutely vile, I try to avoid it at all
costs. I know Steve is trying to encourage GGMM to get their act together
with it though, but it does make using it very frustrating.

Mine was working perfectly until this morning at which point, when I
pressed the talk button to talk to Alexa, the speaker's own voice
