Aren't we getting this a little out of proportion?  GGMM have now come back
and said it is a problem at their end.  Software happens.  Probably Amazon
changed the APIs so that the speaker couldn't work.

By all means go for the refund, but my interpretation of the message I
forwarded this morning is that they will fix it in about a week.

You don't go for a refund when an Echo Dot doesn't answer your questions
straight away, do you?  Amazon services were down one day for about five
hours.

I agree, GGMM could have come back quicker, but they have now.

All the best

Steve

Hi Pele,

This comes under the Consumer Rights Act.

You appear to be within the 6 month period where you should be able to get a
full refund for goods which do not perform as advertised.

I would suggest you contact Amazon immediately and explain the situation.
Try to ensure you keep details of precisely when you called, who you spoke
to, and if possible some form of reference which you can refer to later if
needs be.

If they fail to assist, one would hope that your Local Trading Standards
people would be prepared to take the matter further.

George

Hi Jacki and everyone

I bought my GGMM E2 speaker in April from Amazon. How do I stand on the
question of the guarantee?

Pele
