Tony,

there is an ACC format, and also ACC+. Both are used also in terrestrial
digital broadcasting. I reckon the format is the same (i.e., ACC), in
the BBC Listen Again audio stream as in the live audio stream.

Hi Folk,

Ted Martin he of Talking Computers perhaps is he wanted to know what
format BBC is?

Real was mentioned and something about how do you know if live or
listen again; Ted knows his stuff in computerland but the latter I
mention sounded a little strange!

Anyway see below and I can post more here if necessary.

Sween!

I copied the url from the iplayer window and grabbed the file . In the

for acc; It is all wrapped in a flash player.

iplayer.models.mediaselector.commence("stream", "aac",
currentMediaSelectorVPid, callback);

Hi Ted, listening live is listening to what is currently being

Can anyone tell me in what format does the BBC stream its audio? It
used to be Real, but it's changed now, I believe. Also, is there a
difference between listening live and listening again?

Thanks, Ted
