Hi all - Further to the talking dictionary; I've been having a play with the demo version, and it seems to work quite well - yes because it's a demo, it will only accept searches for 5 character words, but if you type in the first five letters of a longer word, it will give you a list of longer words, so you can test it's range of definitions. Bit impossible to know how good it's database is, and there's no indication to how it was compiled, but for the P&P cost of £4.95 it looks ok value; anyway, worth trying the free demo version, as it is still usable! Wonder what anyone else thinks of it? This dictionary only appears to be 'free' as far as I can see. On clicking on the button to download it you are taken to the checkout where you are invited to pay around five quid - a good price - but not 'free'. Not sure what's going on exactly, but I guess it amounts to, 'if you give a tenner to my favourite charity I'll bung in the dictionary for 'free'. Anyway, if you are interested, see how you get on.
