Why is it that these GPS app developers only seem to recognise iOS and not
android?

We are pleased to welcome our friends in Australia to the Sendero iOS family
of products with special thanks to Guide Dogs NSW ACT for underwriting
development of the new features. The Guide Dogs NSW app is due out any day
now, still pending Apple approval. Special introductory pricing is
available in Australia for a limited number of units. The rest of our apps
are being pushed out as we speak.

The History list has been expanded from 2 items to 25 items. As with the
other Sendero products, your iOS app can now record user points of interest.
You can share one or all of the points with other users and keep a personal
backup. You can give each point a category like Restaurant or Hotel as well
as giving it a descriptive tag such as Main Door or Driveway in a similar
way as the other Sendero products. There is a link to the user manual within
the app or you can read details of the new features at
<http://senderogroup.com/news/segpsrelease.htm>

As always, make the most of your phone's portable convenient functionality
by using it in conjunction with Sendero Maps on the PC, on the Apex or on
the Braille Sense to explore and familiarize yourself with an area. Find the
iPhone apps in the App Store and the other Sendero products at
<http://senderogroup.com/products/shop.htm#GPS>

There is no telephone technical support for Sendero iPhone apps so use the
Frequently Asked Questions
<http://senderogroup.com/products/SeeingEyeGPS/segpsfaq.htm#support>
section to address most items. Send suggestions or questions not addressed
by the FAQs
<http://senderogroup.com/products/SeeingEyeGPS/segpsfaq.htm#support> to
iphone@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

There is a link to the updated version 2.0 Seeing Eye GPST manual from
inside the program. You can find it at User Guide

To purchase The Seeing Eye GPST app, go to iTunes
<https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/seeing-eye-gps/id668624446?ls=1&mt=8> , it
is free to download, but when you launch for the first time you will be
prompted to select a subscription plan for either 1 year or one month.
