Sounds like you have blocked an outgoing port, E.G. Port 21.

Hi all it's as the subject says!!
I installed Kirio last night now the 3 ftp sites that I use don't work any
more!
I get a time out error any help would grate I uninstalled the fire wall just
to see what would happen and it's did not fix the problem.
I think the fire wall has changed some setting in Ie but don't know any
Ideas pleas.
