I actually managed to put the letters in the box on Facebook in the
end -
not sure if it was just luck that I got them right or not. I did it at
work, and was wearing headphones on a PC rather than using my laptop so
the
speech was much clearer.
On another matter, obviously I'm only just getting used to using
Facebook
and its facilities, but I heard a funny noise, and found some text from
one
of my friends, an edit box underneath the text and then a clear chat
history
button (well, JAWS said clear chat history clickable... I tried to
write
text in the edit box, assuming that it was some kind of chat facility
but
there was no option available to post what I'd written. Any
suggestions?

Captcher is a problem for me too on both googlegroups and yahoogroups
as I
wanted to set up a new list, but I'll have to wait until my sister
comes
along to help me. I don't see why I should have to install a new
browser
unless I really am forced to. How long would it be before Firefox
won't
work with captcher or some other such inaccessible method for creating
accounts. I see it as an ever growing problem on the internet.

It's so not funny! I was just trying to sign up with a Facebook

couldn't do it because of the stupid kapcha where you have to fill in

text. yes, they have a so-called audio kapcha on the site but it's
totally
inaudible and there's no way I could get it right (I tried about 10
times!)
