Hi all,
At the moment, I run my system from a small hard drive and have one, twice its size where I store mainly back up files.
My pc is starting to run a bit slow and I assume that it is because the small drive is getting full.
Am I right in thinking that if I bought an external drive, I could transfer the contence of my small drive on it, rename the big drive as the main C drive and put everything back?
Is it that simple?if so, what sort of drive should I look for? any makes to avoid? any pitfals in this process?
Any other way to achieve simply what I want to do, namely use my big drive as my main drive and this without the hastle of reformatting and re-installing everything from scratch?

Simple instructions, ideas or comments very much appreciated.

Cheers now,

Marie
