Hello Sarah.

You could use your samsung TV to record the programs, this may be the easiest option. We still supply the TVonics set top boxes with full speech access. These boxes retail for £250. They allow you to record 2 channels simultaneously, pause live TV, access the TV guide, support audio description etc. They are fully accessible and many see them as the best option for accessing live television. If you would like me to send you the manual to have a look at, please send us an email at:

Or you can give us a call on 03432897501.

Very best wishes,

Mo.

Hi All,

I’m looking into getting a Freeview recorder but wondering if there are any more accessible options out there.  Alternatively as we have a Samsung tv with voice guidance on it I’m also wondering if it would be more accessible to just purchase an external hard drive to record programmes onto -  I know this won’t give us the “Freeview play” options to pause & rewind live programmes or record more than one at a time but if there aren’t any Freeview recorders with speech access then this might be the best option.

Any comments / advice gratefully received.

With thanks,

Sarah
