Hi All

This is as I suspected and is not a viable proposition. I do in fact live very close to the Brighton booster and free run the dogs past it often but we are also by virtue of living close to the French transmitting zone plagued by interference from their service as has been proved when indoor aerials have been used. Therefore thank you for your help and the idea is now forgotten by me.

basically roger you need an arial capable of receiving freeview. This can
be a normal TV arial but if yours is old you may want to get it checked out
by a local arial erector. for a start, this product does I believe come
with an arial but you need to be near a transmitter for it to work. Your
call centre rep should be sacked or given a diciplinary warning for what you
say she said as it is totally and utterly incorrect and misleading.

Cheers

Hi All

I've never been a lover of TV and very rarely watch it but occasionally I
need to. I received the Ebuyer email magazine and they have a DVB-T Freeview
USB stick for £23.95 I phoned them to find out what I need in the way of
aerials and dishes to be told nothing as the dongle pulls the signal out of
the air as it were. She didn't sound too confident and I was a little
suspicious she was saying what I wanted to hear.

Any of you that use these gadgets could you confirm what I do actually need
please as all I have is an analogue TV aerial on the roof that gets the 5
terrestrial channels only.

Many thanks

Roger
