I have no idea where you live Roger, but I guess that unless yu happen to live extremely close to a transmitter this device would not work very well if you can't connect an aerial to it.

Hi All

I've never been a lover of TV and very rarely watch it but occasionally I need to. I received the Ebuyer email magazine and they have a DVB-T Freeview USB stick for £23.95 I phoned them to find out what I need in the way of aerials and dishes to be told nothing as the dongle pulls the signal out of the air as it were. She didn't sound too confident and I was a little suspicious she was saying what I wanted to hear.

Any of you that use these gadgets could you confirm what I do actually need please as all I have is an analogue TV aerial on the roof that gets the 5 terrestrial channels only.

Many thanks

Roger

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
