of the two Libre office is being actively developed, open office is not
being actively developed. so if you where to choose between the two i
would definitely opt for libre offgice.

I have a bit of a confusion though around the difference between Libra

I know they were forks of each other, or one forked off the other, or
something *smile* does anyone know which one is under active development?
Thanks.

Hi,
I'd agree with Martin, Jarte is really a notepad rather than a Word
Processor, that just happens to read .docx files. However, it's good enough
if your needs are basic. Open Office is better if you want the full suite,
and I believe it is now accessible.
All the best
Steve

I agree, John, that Jart is better but not sure it's that good, but OK for
some straightforward stuff.

Hi all, Windows 10 with JAWS 18. Any accessible Microsoft Word
work with all MS Word formats including $docx. Many thanks.
