Hi Wendy and everyone

Thanks to everyone who responded. I have now managed to reformat the card
and all is well.

Thanks again.

David

You probably have a shortcut on your desktop called my computer. Go into
that, and cursor down until you hear something like devices with removable
storage. You should then find your card reader listed. Press the
application key and cursor down till you hear format. Press enter and the
dialog box should give you all the info you need. Mine tells me that it is
formatting as FAT32, and there is a check box for quick format. I have done
this a couple of times recently, and it seems to work ok. Quick format
won't take very long under Windows 7.
