For sure with the Alva that was a problem I had and one I witnessed with many
customers, however, as I say, with both my focus 14 and 40, and Traces 40 and
14, we're not seeing dot fading at all.

I find the dots on both my Alva and Hims U2 fade a lot as well. Yes I use them
daily, but my hands are always clean. The comment seems to be: "What do you
expect if you use it every day?"

Hello
I have a Focus Blue 14 which I enjoy using. Indeed I use it a lot.
However, I have one major problem. For the third time in less than a year I am
finding that dots are sticking. This time the problem seems to be the worst I
have seen as the dot does not show at all. I have tried cleaning, but to no
avail. For a gadget as expensive as this one, this seems a poor return. Do
other Braille display users find dots failing with this frequency or am I just
using the display too much? I suspect the focus will be making yet another
visit to Site And Sound.
