Hi Ian.
No, there hasn't been any update from Apple or Freedom Scientific to my
knowledge regarding this. I am in the unfortunate position of having a
Focus braille display but cannot pair it to my iPhone 7 because I am running
iOS 10.2 and have not paired my braille display to my phone in some time,
having previously deleted the pairing. This means I cant use my nearly 2000
pound braille display with my iPhone which I am pissed off about, to put it
very mildly. Of course its easy to blame apple, however Freedom Scientific
could offer a firmware update to resolve this problem, just as apple could
issue a software patch. We'll have to see who plays first but until then,
my Braille display is sitting pretty in a bag.
All the best, Ibrahim.

From what I read, there are no problems with iOS10.2 if you update and your
device was already paired. I have found this to be the case. It seemed the
issue was with pairing a new Focus or pairing a focus after it had been
unpaired. There was a post from Freedom about this but I don't know if there
have been any updates to it.

Ah thats not the issue I’m afraid.
The advice was to do with failure to pair not functionality issues once the
update had been done.
That said I know at least three people who’ve done the IOs update and have
had no issues with either the 14 or 40 since doing so.

Hi Iain
I have a Focus Blue 40 but can't help with your specific problem as I
have not paired it with my iPhone. But I did read a few posts from
AppleVis when
10.2 was released that they were advising dependent VoiceOver and
Focus Blue users not to update due to issues.
Sorry I can't help further.

Hello
I have a Focus 14 which is connected to my iPhone and iPad. In the
main, it is working well. However, since last evening, I have found
that from time to time panning right moves forward two 14-cell units
instead of one. I cannot cause this to happen so it is difficult to
diagnose the problem. Has anyone else experienced this? I am using the
latest version of iOS10. I believe there has been an issue with Focus
Blue displays and the latest version of iOS10.
