Hold on folks, as I understand it, the label triggers the message which is
kept within the penfriend. Therefore, if someone uses label number 1 in
their starter pack, and another person has already recorded their label 1 in
their starter pack, then if the first person sends his sticky label to the
second person, when person number two plays the label it will play the
message he recorded on his label 1 not what was recorded by the first
person. that is why there is no point in buying another pack of the same
type of labels.
What I am saying is that you cannot swap labels for another person to get
your messages, you would have to swap penfriends.
Maybe I have it all wrong.

Isn't Sight Village going to be that much easier next year if they lend out
penfriends for a small deposit!
And what about all those times you go to museums etc and someone has to read
the cards on the exhibits.
Next I'll be trying to interest my local pub chains in buying one for every
pub/restaurant & recording a label for each item on the menu as I don't read
braille well enough to read a braille menu. They could just make up 3
pages, one with starters and extras, one with mains, and one for desserts &
beverages. That way, they would only need to re-record each label when the
menu or prices changes. Do you reckon I can copyright that?

I like that one, Barbara. I'm seriously thinking about attaching one to
my mobile phone (which I always have with me) so that I carry the shopping
list without having to put text into the phone. Alternatively I may put a
key fob with label ready for use. (Must remember to take the pen though!)
I like the idea (as stated on the video recording) of using labels on
the back of your correspondence and even have the whole letter read if
necessary.
Of course, we all need to decide whether the label is going to be
re-used and to put that on something suitable for such use.
Anyone tried backing up their labeller yet?
