[access-uk] Files may have disappeared from In-box so where are they, and can I get them back?

Hi all list members,
I downloaded messages earlier and I thought there were 3 in my inbox.
I then accidentally pressed a few keys and my version of JFW which is
(5.10.350 ), locked up.
I had to restart the computer and when I did so all other folders which had
messages in were still showing them but the in box was empty.
I do not have a yahoo account so how can I make sure if I have lost messages
please.
