I just want to echo what Ibrahim says and asks. I'm using Winzip on
both Professional and Ultimate Windows 7 systems with no problems.

Subject: [access-uk] File extraction and Unzipping With Windows 7.

Please will those using Windows 7 tell me what programme they use to
do these tasks?

I used to use Winzip but tried version 14 which says it supports
Windows 7 but cannot make it work and I do know all the keystrokes to
use it having used it with XP unless these strokes are different and
if anybody knows I'd be grateful.

Then I installed WinRar for the RAR files which the inbuilt extractor
can't handle and I looked on the internet for a fersion that said it
supported Windows 7 and unfortunately picked up a virus so terrible
that it stopped the laptop from working and PC World are as we speak
using a recovery disk on it.

Should I just use WinRar from whitestick or Jaws users programme site?

Also do most older versions of programmes work with Windows 7? Skype
3.8 doesn't appear to as it says there are compatibility issues.

Thanks for your help and sorry this is a bit long and involved.

Mandy.
