Hi Sharon, a couple of tips. The first thing to mention is that you don't need
to install it, just run it.
To split a file open HJ Split, and, with the jaws cursor find where it says
file to split unknown. Route the cursor to the word unknown and a browse window
will open. Browse to the file and click on open.
If you tab you'll come to where you specify how bit you want the parts to be
in kilobytes. It's an edit field, so just delete the default 1400 K and put in
your desired figure.
After that just tab to the start button.
To join a split file, click on the word unknown, as previously described, and
then browse to the first part of the split file, which will have a 001 file
extention. Highlight it and click open then tab to start. The complete file
will be placed in the same folder as the parts.
                    John.

Hi Sharon, HJ Split. It's accessible, but you'll need to use the jaws cursor.

HJ Split also joins, so if you send the file to someone they'll need HJ
Split to join the parts.

I haven't got a link offhand, but if you google HJ Split you'll find it.
It's freeware.

                      John.

    Hi,

Does anyone know of a program that can easily split an audio file into
several parts, preferably one that works with jaws.

    Many thanks.

    Sharon
