Chris,

I could do all those things without right clicking or anything; I have just chosen not to spend the time on Facebook any longer! Yes, it's a pain because there can be a lot on any one page and that's why I preferred the mobile and/or light sites, but you can't do everything from these.

I don't remember quite where the limitations are as I haven't been there for a little while now and want to forget it ... but there are some.

Subject: [access-uk] Facebook, for a friend

Hello all,
I plan to set up, over Tandem, a facebook account for my
friend Hannah. I am just wondering, for a competent JAWS
user, will she be able to do things like post her status,
reply to comments, reply to or post private messages to
her friends, and so on? I do have Facebook, but I am a
more experienced JAWS user compared to Hannah. We are
both using JAWS 11. She is aware of both the Mobile and
Light sites, so she'll have a try on both the sites and
see what she prefers. I am asking primarily in case she
runs into those horrible captchas. I have activated
Facebook via text, so don't necessarily run into those
problems. Even if I did I do at least know how to solve
those captchas. All thoughts would be greatly appreciated as she knows a
few college friends on there and therefore she is willing
to try it. Thank you very much. Take care.
From Chris.
