Yes, that is where I am coming from as well.  I personally don't consider
the extra cost worthwhile.  But at least they each have pros and cons to be
aware of before buying.

Hi

It depends what you want from your player.

If you want to play books then the victor reader stream is the better
player, in my opinion. The speech is better and if, like me, you play books
at high speed, the sound is better.

If you want to make recordings the Plextalk Pocket is a far superior
machine.
