Hi Billy, Here's the one response I've had so far. Sounds like you may have to enlist some sighted help, but hopefully it will resolve your problem. Please let me know how you get on. George. ________________________________ From: WinXPHelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:WinXPHelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Lenny Vasbinder Sent: 18 June 2005 19:43 To: WinXPHelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [WinXPHelp] Re: Trojan Clicker Trojan Hunter 4 from http://misec.net/trojanhunter/ has a 30 FREE Trial on a fully functioning program. I've been using it for 26 days and will upgrade to the paid version. It has a lot of customization available so it takes a little while to enable all of its capabilities to your needs but if you are familiar with setting all of the options in most virus scanners, you will be able to set this up also. It also has a "Guard" feature which starts up and watches for trojans much like your AV program looks for viruses (FYI - virii is not a proper word from everything that I've read). You also have to do manual updates during your free trial but it does auto-update with the paid version. I'm not sure how it will work for a blind person since it has so many things that can be checked/unchecked, etc. Lenny Vasbinder http://lennyvasbinder.blogspot.com 504-621-1870 eFax - 413-318-0742 LNVTM1@xxxxxxxxx Message: 1 Date: Fri, 17 Jun 2005 13:11:58 +0100 From: "George Bell" <george@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Trojan Clicker Does anyone know of a free Trojan Clicker removal tool? I mean one that actually removes the offending Trojan, and does not cost. I have just been thoroughly sickened on Google, where I found that everything was "free" -- up to the point at which you said "Remove" -- then they wanted paid. This is for a blind friend, who already has a variety of paid for tools, which will find, but not remove it. George.
