Hi Brian

I agree about the reproduction of Eloquence through the speakers, and
the sound generally when listening to music on the N82.

I must have been lucky with both my N91 4 and 8GB handsets. Still have
and love them both dearly (smile).

At the moment, I think that the N82 is the best keypad to work with
using TALKS. The Sony Ericsson phones are nice, but of course don't
support TALKS. For now, your best bet Roger would be the N82 if you can
get one on contract.

I must agree with Jackie. I started using the N82 as from yesterday,
and I really do like the keypad especially the figure keys. The buttons
to answer and cancel a call would for some people take a little bit of
getting used to, but as with most things you do get used to that. What
I really like about the phone however is the reproduction of the
Eloquence software when using Talks through the speaker. It has a very
clear sound.

Yes I also agree that the N91 keypad was good, but after a few months
the speech on the phone became very distorted and I think there was
something wrong with the unit I Had. I then went to the N73. But I do
like the N82 a lot!

        Hi All

Went out today and had a good look at what is available that
will take Talks
and there is simply nothing better than the N73, most being much
worse.
Couldn't find a N82 anywhere so looked at the successor the N96
and it had
to be designed as a joke. Even my wife had problems typing on
that tiny
        keypad.

So I've decided to give up the search and switch my contract to
pay as you
go and wait until reason returns to the designers and more
sensible phones
        come back onto the market.

Thanks everyone for your help and comments in this matter.

        Roger
