I think I speak for many people who have found Techno-Vision Systems an
invaluable and loyal company to deal with, and someone in George who has
been the face of access technology for more than 30 years. I for one am
delighted that he will be selling and supporting Canute 360, it couldnt be
in better hands!
Congratulations George!
Kind regards,
Jackie Brown

Subject: [access-uk] FW: A new braille product finally becomes a reality -
the Canute-360
Apologies in advance as this is being posted on a number of lists.
If you are going to Sight Village this week, and would like to get your
hands on a new braille product, please stop by Bristol Brailles booth and
take a look at the Canute-360.
British developed and manufactured, it is an e-book braille display
comprising of 9 lines of 40 cells, and costing just under £1,900.
BRF and/or PEF files on a USB drive or flash card can be displayed. It
almost goes without saying that this can be invaluable for anyone who wishes
to proofread a braille document, rather than proofing on expensive braille
paper.
Musicians, mathematicians and programmers will also appreciate having 9
lines of braille available at a time.
Im pleased to say that whilst we (Techno-Vision) wont be in Birmingham
this year, we will be exclusively distributing and, most importantly
supporting the Canute-360 in the UK.
Meanwhile you can see more details on the web at
http://bristolbraille.co.uk/ while we also get our own web page updated at
http://www.techno-vision.co.uk where you will even be able to place an
order.
All the best,
George Bell
