Hello, Thank you for the suggestions I've received in my search for an FTP client. Someone on another list mentioned a program called Free Download Manager, and after I found out that it will handle FTP as well as HTTP sites, I downloaded a copy from http://www.freedownloadmanager.org So far it seems to be working well. You can schedule downloads to take place at a convenient time, and stop and resume them, providing the site from which you are downloading supports this feature. As the name suggests, the program is free. If anyone is looking for a more versatile way to download files, you might want to give this a try. There was a review of the program on Main Menu for 5 October last year.
