Carol and everyone, I have to agree about Diskeeper. I got the trial ten days ago and purchased earlier this week. My machine is running much faster and it is good that you can just let it do its work most of the time and not worry about it. Hi all, I've been thinking particularly about Hannah's recent problems with OE, and possibly relating these to a fragmented/damaged hard drive. I'd just like to comment that I was most annoyed, after updating Jaws lately when again I started to notice a familiar problem (seen before and rectified for a while). Jaws started to crash if I was cursoring around web pages and sometimes in Internet Explorer. Was this Jaws related, or IE? Well, dunno exactly, but I do know it was infuriating . . . but that, since using Diskeeper (so highly recommended on this list), the problems have totally gone away again and I'm speeding along. I did used to defrag my disc from time to time using the Windows utility - but I'm certainly very pro Diskeeper and am off to buy it now having had the demo for a few days!
