Hi Richard, if your friend looks at ABBYY Fine Reader quick tasks submenu on
the start menu the fourth option down is scan to Microsoft Word. I'm running
XP, so if your friend's running W7 the route to the quick tasks submenu may
well be different.

Hi, asking on behalf of someone how you get this to scan to Word. I'm using
version 8, which has an automation manager which just scans to Word, among
other useful options.
Any tips on set up and use would be gratefully received.
