Richard Oddly enough it was, in a very underhand way. Our strong suspicion was that it was pinched by a delivery driver at work. He also delivered to my house (not far from work) and the hone was found at home, in an unusual place, following a delivery ...! This latter I did when mine was nicked a few months ago! To find an enabled IOS device you need to get the Find My iPhone app from the appstore installed onto another IOS device and run it. The Find My iPhone app requires you to log in with your apple ID and it then looks for all the devices you have registered to that ID that are turned on. You can then locate the device on a map and command it to do certain things like delete the data on it or make a sound so it can be found. It wasn't clear to me whether you needed to set up the finding device at the same time, or if that could be done once the lost device had become lost. Didn't find the instructions particularly obvious - but that may well be me!
