Did you change the setting Active Scripting to enable? I guess you probably did, but just checking...

I tried to sign up for Facebook but was informed that java script was not enabled in my brouser. I went into internet options and changed everytning I could think of to on in the security settings butwas still being told that java script was not enabled.
