I have a 350 gig Freecom and it's totally pain free.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Subject: [access-uk] External hard drive

Hi Folks,

I am considering purchasing an external hard drive for my pc in order to
back up everything just in case of pc failure. I am amazed to find that you
can now get up to a 500 GB drive for just over £70. I have even found one
for under thirty pounds but I have never heard of the manufacturer, so will
not be taking a chance on that one. I want one which is easy to use,
external rather than internal, and runs from a normal USB connection. Is
there anything else I should particularly look for and are there any
manufacturers people have had good experiences with. Freecom seem to get
good reviews.

any thoughts would be appreciated.

David
