Hi All,

First of all, to prevent any confusion, I’m solely referring here to text PDF documents and not to scanned documents saved in PDF formats.

And my question is please, does anyone know how “Adobe Acrobat Export PDF the online service” convert PDF documents to Word format? I mean, does it do the conversion by OCR the PDF document, and then saving it into Word format? Or, does it convert the format itself without going through the process of OCR if that makes sense?

Basically, I have the programme ReadIris 17 OCR, and to convert PDF documents, I use this programme to OCR the PDF document and then save it into Word format. However, this process does not give 100% accurate results. So, I’m looking into subscribing to the Adobe Acrobat online conversion service, but if Adobe online service is going to do what I’m already doing I will look somewhere else.

If someone could advise on this, or could recommend a programme to export PDF documents to Word but not through the OCR process, I’d be grateful for their input.

Kind regards,

Amro
