Hi all,

When I was shown a Bradley, I was fine with the inner tracking ball, but had
great difficulty locating and feeling the one on the outer edge of the watch.
As someone has pointed out in another thread, or maybe off list, you normally
know what hour it is, and are looking for the 'minute hand', anyway. However,
it would be a pain without the hour if you wanted to find out what time it was
when you awoke in the middle of the night. Where can you go to get a Bradley
and beat the £230 price tag?

Best,
Clive

I bought one at the earliest opportunity, and not disappointed.
It is the best tactile watch that I have ever owned, and the best time keeper.
Apparently, it is a movement akin to a Rolex.
The cost at that time was about £140 I seem to recall.
Interestingly, friends have like it so much that they have bought them as
fashion items from the dealer in London, at about a hundred quid more.

I have now seen one that someone was wearing at the recent TechaBreak
conference I attended, and I liked it. A bit expensive though!

I don't normally wear my Braille watch at night, but it is always
close by.
I wouldn't mind a Bradley to join it!

Kind Regards,

Subject: [access-uk] Experiences with Bradley watch

Having used one for about a week I find the following.

It is relatively easy to tell the time.

2. However, the groove for the hour seems to be at cuff level so
that
between about 8 and 10 the ball-bearing tends to be displaced.
Shaking the
wrist does not always return it to the correct position and so I
have to
have a rough idea of the time in order to be sure of it.

Re the second point does anybody else have this experience?

Peter
