Hi Carol, It's been ages since you sent this mail so don't know if it rings any bells now but... I was having problems formatting some cells in Excel. You said press control space to select the entire column, then control f1 and choose "Text". I'm formatting the cells how I want them now by pressing ' apostrophe before typing the phone numbers, so got around the problem I originally wrote about. But I just wanted to say - pressing Control space did select the column. But pressing Control f1 didn't seem to do anything at all. What's Control F1 supposed to do?
