Yes there is. Use the "auto fit width facility". I use Excel 10 and with
this the key combination is alt+h then o, i. Alternatively Alt+h then o.
This brings you into the list of cell editing options which you can then
down arrow through.

Subject: [access-uk] Excel and Jaws question

Hello

Is there a quick way of being able to widen a colun sufficiently enough to
show its contents without the obscured text being spoken. I've tried
wrapping the text and widening the column but to no avail. I know that
sighted people can select the text and drag it to the required width.

I'm using Windows 10 and Jaws 17.

Thanks very much.

Wendy
