Alistair, don't understand why WebVisum says it's incompatible with Firefox 9, unless you need to update WebVisum.

I have Firefox 9.0.1, and WebVisum works fine with it.

Vince.

Hi Peter, tried firefox 9 but it reported after installation it was not compatible with webvisum so I reverted to 7!

BEST!

Hi Peter, Just tried it with NVDA and firefox 7 and you are quite correct it works tolerably well but still no first letter navigation. At least I now have a means, all be it a bit awkward, to get the thing done, again thanks!

I am using the latest snapshot of NVDA and it seems ok.

Hi Peter, tried both Mazilla and IE 8 and IE9 with the same result.
Take care!

Hi barry, don't know if this is the kind of thing you are looking at but for me the main thomas cook web site was always easy to use and accessibility was never a issue. Having tried to book our summer hols on the site I found it next to impossible to use, using jaws 13 and even trying NVDA with both Mazilla and IE9 the combo boxes would self-activate when navigating down a list, no first letter nav was available either and the page would bounce around from one heading to another, I have complained both on line and at my local shop. Just think it a great pity that something that was so easy to use is now virtually unusable, doubtless it was done in the name of progress! the link is:

Best wishes

Hi all

I'm going to take part in a presentation for some corporate bods to
highlight access problems on websites, and would appreciate it if people
could send me examples of poorly designed sites. It's not just
inaccessibility that I want to highlight, but poor usability too. So, if you have an example of a site that conforms to wc3 but is still a pain to
navigate, that would be a great example.

Cheers

Barry
